| Everyday across North America, tonnes of goods are transported by road, rail and air. Most of these shipments start and end by loading and unloading the goods using powered industrial lift trucks.
This year in North America, 100,000 injuries involving forklifts will be reported. 100 workers will lose their lives. Most of these incidents can be eliminated by Forklift Safety Training.
This safety training module addresses the causes surrounding these forklift accidents, and instructs on safe work practices to reduce the chances of your employees being involved in an accident. Employees are coached on the principles of load stability, load and lift capacities, and safe operation of forklifts.
Pre-operational procedures and inspections, and forklift selection criteria are also shown.
TIME: The program takes about 60 minutes to complete. A set of 10 question tests with answer keys are included. Also included are printable wallet cards and certificates, reference materials, an optional driving test layout and a sample pre-operational checklist.
