| Routine cleaning, repair and maintenance of industrial machinery occurs everyday across North America. Unless Lock-Out / Tag-Out protocols are used, workers run the risk of injury, dismemberment or death.
This year in North America, 130,000 injuries involving lockout failure will be reported. 130 workers will lose their lives. Most of these incidents can be eliminated by Lock-Out / Tag-Out Safety Training.
Although Lock-Out / Tag-Out principles are quite easy, every worker needs to be trained in their application to ensure the procedures are understood and followed. This safety training module addresses the causes surrounding these Lock-Out / Tag-Out incidents, and instructs on safe work practices to reduce the chances of your employees being involved in an accident. Employees are coached on the principles of Lock-Out / Tag-Out, the use of various lockout devices, and given an overview of how to address specific lockout problems.
TIME: The program takes about 60 minutes to complete. A set of 10 question tests with answer keys are included. Also included are printable wallet cards and certificates.
