What is a V.M.I. Program?

V.M.I stands for Vendor Maintained Inventory. It is where we the vendor will help maintain your inventory levels so you don’t have to worry about running out of product so you can focus on your business..

How does it work?

First we will come to your location and see your facility, review your product that you currently use, and see how you use the product to make sure you are using the best product for the job to help you save money. Secondly we will provide you special contract pricing on the products that you use and work with the customer to set minimum stocking levels. Then we set up a regular visit based on you needs and usage and review your stock levels, compare them to the minimum requirements and bring a list of required product for you to approve. Then we return to put the product away.

Can we change our minimums?

Absolutely you can change the minimums at anytime. As a matter of fact our representative will encourage you to review your minimums and compare them to the usage report. Also they will advise if they see a product such as a seasonal items and your usage rate has dropped they will advise you to adjust your minimums accordingly. If you know that your production will increase and that you will be using a particular item more frequently, all you have to do is let your rep know and we will take care of the rest.

What are the benefits?

The benefits are many. No need to track the inventory yourself. No more forgetting to call in to place an order. You automatically are set on contract pricing, saving you money. We put away the inventory saving you time so you can concentrate on other things. You also have access to reports that shows your yearly usage by category. We can stock not only your safety gear but your first aid items as well. When we are all done we email you an invoice. Then back again at the next scheduled time, weekly, bi weekly or monthly.
